Know Thyself

This maxim originates from Ancient Greece and has been quoted by many authors over the years. In-depth analysis by some clever people has resulted in various meanings being assigned to the quote. I don’t think these meanings are necessarily mutually exclusive. From our point of view, I use these words to introduce the cards. We’ve all used Playing Cards over the years to play games like rummy and canasta. Some of us have consulted Tarot card readers who use their deck to draw conclusions about where we are in life and to provide us with advice. Not many of us are aware of the use of Playing Cards to learn about ourselves and to understand how the energies around us change over time. As they change we are presented with different challenges and opportunities on our path throughout life.
