The position of each card
Each card’s meaning varies depending on where it falls. Let’s take an example:
Each year of your life, your Birth Card is associated with cards that run across the whole year and cards that fall in each of seven periods. If you are born on 14 March, then your birthday year runs from this date across the year until the next 14 March. This year is divided into seven periods, each one of 52 days. The periods are named after the planets and have associated with them the energies associated with each of these planets.
Mercury represents things that happen quickly and things that have to do with the mind or communication.
Venus is a beneficial planet and relates to relationships and the home.
Mars represents energy and desire.
Jupiter is the planet of expansion. The cards in this period can tell you areas in which you could expand.
Saturn is the planet of contraction. During this period you may need to focus more than usual on your goals and associated tasks.
Uranus is
Neptune is
In addition to the seven periods associated with each of the seven planets, you have influences that run across the whole year i.e. across all of the seven planetary periods.
These are your Long Range Card, your Pluto and Result Cards (they are read together), your Environment Card and Displacement Card.
In particular the Pluto and Result Cards are important. The Pluto Card represents a challenge for the year and the Result Card is as it says – the result.
